Directions to Historic Jacob Hill Inn

From Brown University (East Side of Providence): Follow Waterman Street to almost the end bear left onto the Henderson Bridge. Take the very first exit off the bridge (No #). Follow the road a big sweeping left turn up the hill. Continue through one light till you must turn right on John St. At the next light Turn Left on Taunton Ave Rte. 44 East. Follow the road through 2 lights you will see 3 Big signs with arrows pointing to the Left. Turn Left and at the end of that block turn Right to continue on Rte. 44 East. Follow another 4 lights plus One mile (Just after Belwing Turkey Farm) Left on Jacob St. 1/4 mile on left.

Much easier Going To the campus with out the one ways (8 minutes)

From South of Providence (T F Green Airport): Take Route 95 North to Providence, Rhode Island. Take Exit #19 Rt. 195 East, follow for approx. 4.5 miles (there will be eight exits in Rhode Island before you reach the Massachusetts line, DO NOT TAKE Exit 8 Take Exit #1 in Massachusetts (Route 114A). Turn left at the light and follow Route 114A through the next two traffic lights (approximately 1 mile). Bear right at the blinking light (Old Grist Mill Tavern) follow Arcade Avenue for approximately 1 mile. Take a right at the next traffic light (Route 44) follow for approximately 9/10 of a mile. You will see Belwing Turkey Farm on your right, put your left blinker on, 200 yards on the left is a yellow triangle NO PASSING ZONE sign, turn left on Jacob Street. Stay to the right we are on the left at the top of the hill (look for the Black Antique Carriage)

From Boston: Follow Route 93 South, stay right on Route 93 (to Dedham) when it splits with Route 3, follow to the Route 95 South exit (direction for Providence RI). Stay on Route 95 to exit 2-A in Massachusetts (Route 1-A Pawtucket). At the second light (Benefit Street) turn left follow to the next light turn left.(Pawtucket Credit Union will be on your left) Follow to the next set of lights Route 152 (Hess Gas Station on right) turn right, follow Route 152 for 3.5 miles to a blinking light (large green sign on right, Arcade Avenue), turn left. The next traffic light (Route 44) turn left and follow for approximately 9/10 of a mile. You will see Belwing Turkey Farm on your right put your left blinker on, 200 yards on the left is a yellow triangle NO PASSING ZONE sign, turn left on Jacob Street. Stay to the right, we are on the left at the top of the hill (look for the Black Antique Carriage)

From Newport and Cape Cod (from Rt. 195 West): Follow Route 114 North to Route 24 North to Route 195 West to exit # 1 in Massachusetts (Route 114A). Take a right off the exit and follow Route 114A through the next two traffic lights (approximately 1 mile). From Cape Cod : Follow directions from Newport start at Route 195 West

From Western Massachusetts (Berkshires): Take Route 90 East (Mass. Pike) to Rt. 146 South. Providence, to Rt. 95 South, Left Lane take exit # 20 Route 195 East and follow for approximately 4.5 miles (there will eight exits in RI before you reach the Massachusetts line) DO NOT TAKE EXIT # 1 OR EXIT # 7 IN RHODE ISLAND. Take exit # 1 in Massachusetts (Route 114A). Take a left at the light and follow Route 114A through the next two traffic lights (approximately 1 mile).
